Things aren't always what they seem
Well today was rather interesting. As mentioned be fore Cam and I were going to go to the IMAX to see a show. We arrive 40 min. early. Find parking right in front of the theater (did I mention I had to drive into downtown Harrisburg) only to find out that the show has been sold out. Plan B: We go to the largest movie theater in town. The movie Cam wanted to see was Treasure Planet. Our time 6:50. Start time 8:30. Did I mention we once again stumbled upon front row parking??? On to plan C: We drive to one more theater. Parked a small walking distance from the front. They had the movie, point one, it was 7:10 our time, the movie was to start at 7:30, point two, and it wasn't sold out, point three!!!!!! We had plenty of time to get popcorn and a good seat. The movie was very good. Cam and I shared popcorn and Raisinetts (sp?) It was quite fun. Now he is sleeping and I am getting ready for bed. So goodnight.

I am such a dork. I was thanking Joe for the waffle maker he got as I was putting it away and I dropped it. I fell to the floor with a loud crash. It only fell about 4-6 in. but it must have been at the perfect angle because it looks like I threw it across the room. Oh well so much for waffles now.

Cameron and I have had a lovely day so far. We had waffles for breakfast. Played 2 games of Yahteez (sp?). Played with the dominos. And played on the computer. Tonight we are going to the IMAX to see "Santa Claus vs. The Snowman" in 3-D.

Joe has spent the day working on the workbench in the basement and finishing up the painting in the hallway.

So I promised today the topic of choice would be Mr. Wonderful himself.
Mr. Wonderful
well where to start. I don't want to drag all the details out about the falling apart of my marriage, but I will say this, Joe had very little if nothing to do with it. He just happened to be the right person in the right place at the right time. Being with Joe has been an eye-opening experience for me. He treats me the way I always wanted to be treated. He respects me for who I am. He shows me and tells me everyday how important I am to him. And all that wonderful other gushy stuff. He cares about me and what I think and values my opinions. Life has been a complete change for me in the last 2 months. I can truly say that I am happy. I stopped taking Celexa about 4 weeks ago and have felt wonderful. Yes I did discuss this with the dr. Which I have, by the way, continued seeing through all of this. So that is about all I have to say on the subject. I have choosen the correct road for once and feel confident in my choice.

Ok time to have a little snack and possibily cook lunch for Joe. Oh yes did I mention that for some odd reason I have no desire to work full time now and I can't wait till Joe gets promoted so I can drop down to part time and be at home more often. Gee what a shocker :-P

Promise of a New Day
Well here I am. I am sitting in Cameron's bedroom / computer room writing my first blog in quite awhile. I have Cam this weekend since I didn't get to see him for Thanksgiving. He is living with Steve, Haley is with me. (he is not Haley's bio. father) Anyway...we have been living here for nearly 2 months now. All but one room is painted (the one I am in currently) Most of it is organized. We are still working on the basement. Joe and I decided to build a library out of 1/3 of the basement. We both love books and our combined collection is quite huge. Haley seems to be adjusting to her new school. She has made several friends and has been participating in after school activities. She has however been very difficult to deal with at home. She has created a fantasy life that involves her living with her bio. dad and how wonderful life would be with him. Don't even get me started on that topic. Cameron seems to have adjusted to the situation pretty well. I see him every wednesday and every other weekend. He tells me he loves me and seems to have a good time when he comes to visit. I try not to go out of my way and do all kinds of expensive excursions with him. I want things to be as normal as possible. Sometimes we go out, other times we stay home.

I have tons more to say but right now I am very sleepy and need to get to bed. Tomorrow's topic...my mr. wonderful (and no I am not delusional I promise!)
